brooks c17 test

i was able to test ride a brooks cambium c17 saddle recently. at first the saddle felt harder than i though it would. once i got going on my ride, it felt pretty good. i thought i might actually enjoy a brooks. maybe the hype is real…
20 miles in, the saddle was not feeling too great. from 25 miles or so on until i stopped my ride at 51 miles, i was miserable on the c17. it was one of the worst saddles i have ridden a long distance on. this model is way too wide for me. i am looking forward to giving the new narrower c15 model a try and hope for it to work out.
besides it not working out for me. the saddle is great. it’s got all the legendary brooks look and design into it. saddle bag loops are always a plus.
