First 200k of the year. This was another new route for me. The ride out to Pierce Point was wonderful minus the smell of death that comes along with cattle holding cells. Lots of rolling green hills leading to the ocean. A steep climb just before the control.
I started the ride of slow. Preston shot ahead, but missed the turn and ended up at Pt Reyes station. Lesson learned it studying the route before hand... or at least the brevet card.
We still made alright time even stopping for sushi in Marin before crossing the bridge.
